Prayers needed for my baby

Smokie has to go to the vet tuesday-- his arthritis is getting bad and im afraid it is going to be very bad news

Hopefully he just needs some stronger meds. He has been on the baby aspirin every other day regimen for a few months now..

Not sure what to do.

We couldnt make the vet appointment yesterday but are going first thing this morning- he could hardly walk last night from pain!

He is older than we thought, vet thinks he may actually be like 12 or 13. I know in about 3 hours we will be heading to the vet, and Smokie might not be coming back home with me

Well it is ok

Vet gave him Metacam for the arthritis and its expensive, but got a 6 month supply for $30 so- that plus office visit i was out $70 but baby is doing much better

You didn't mention Dasuquin or glucosamine of some kind. Is there a reason he's not on it?

he is allergic to it. Shut his airway down before

Yes I am happy - glad he is doing better, just parting with the $70 is rough lol

But all for the baby I guess- if it was a human child, medical bills would be much higher
