"Free kittee! No more collar!" Love, Tabby

Yes, Tabby is a free little girl. She had her stitches out tonight and no more collar for her. It was funny...the vet tech brought her back to me (they removed the stitches in another room) and she was carrying the collar. I took Tabby in my arms and when the vet tech tried to hand me the collar, Tabby started hissing. NO MORE COLLAR!

She still has a bit of a lump at the spay area; they think it's from the internal stitches that haven't dissolved yet, but are a little concerned because of her ripping all but two stitches out on her own. We are to keep an eye on her and if the area feels warm or gets red, we're to take her back to the vet right away.

When we came home from the vet? As I unlocked the front door and started walking up the steps to the living room, Tabby started to purr. Poor baby, she's been through a lot in the past two weeks.

Aww, bless her heart.  I'm glad the collar is GONE! 

Awwww I remember when Rosie and Sophie had theirs removed the first thing they did was have a good scratch!

Awwww!! So sweet! Bless. I hope the little bump is, indeed, just stitches that haven't dissolved. Fingers crossed!:cross:

Thank you! We're keeping a close eye on her.

She washed and scritched so much last night that I took a Swiffer to the kitchen floor....there was fur everywhere. And every time we had taken the collar off, I always gave her a good brushing with the brush to make her feel better. But it's not the same as cleaning yourself, I guess, if you're a kitty.

And then about an hour or so later, Tabby and Mollipop and Amber were chasing each other all over the house last night. Their world is back to normal.

That's fantastic! I bet she feels so much better.

She must be so relieved to have that hated thing off! that everything is healing properly.

I bet she's so happy to get rid of that horrible collar  I remember how horrible it was when Midnight had to wear 1.

Free at last!     Good news for Tabby and for you.    I'm sure that she has forgiven and forgotten!
