Cat grinding teeth in sleep?

I guess this is behaviorial.

 

I've noticed recently that Cassie grinds her teeth in her sleep. Not all the time though, and it's usually when she's curled in my lap and falls in to deep slumber. I don't know if she grinds any other time, especially at night since I can't hear a thing.

 

Think the teeth grinding is behavorial or she's dreaming?

It sounds like she's dreaming?. Does she give little body twitches as well?

yea, she does give body twitches on occasion.

 

I didn't think cats dream. I never really thought of it

My three dream often,  and that's how l know their dreaming because of their bodies twitching and their all floppy if you lift their paw slightly and drop it?. I often wonder what it is their dreaming about, chasing after something, or play fighting? 

 

If their in a deep sleep sometimes l hear slight smacking noises with their mouth as well

I'd like to think she's dreaming of eating, since thats all she'd do if I let her!
