Happy New Year! I lived in Aberdeen for about a year, so saw in one New Year while I was there. Loved how the buses ran all night, for free, to get everyone home safely.
I've been living in Edinburgh for 4 years, but I would always go back to Canada for the holidays, so this was the first year I spent Hogmanay in Scotland. They definitely celebrate the new year better in Edinburgh than back home, with a 3 day ceremony starting with a torchlight procession on the 30th.
Anyway, I thought I'd share my favourite version of 'Auld Lang Syne' to start off the new year!
