Hi Ritz, I think it depends upon the retailer and the company that makes the food. The unused portion of any Nutro product can be returned to the point of purchase for a full refund, exchange or store credit. I don't know if all companies guarantee their products or if all retailers will take it back but any retailer selling any Nutro product is obligated contractually to take a return of the unused portion. But thanks for posting about the tax deduction. A good thing for people to know.
