OFF insect repellent

Thread Starter

San, my noisy, loving cat has decided that OFF on my arms/legs tastes pretty good. greenbarf.gif He sneaks up on me and starts licking. There has been no bad reaction to it. He is not interested in the OFF bottle (he ignored an opened one) so I am positive he will not eat the stuff and he is the only cat who does this.

Ni, my cuddler, loves Listerine Mint mouthwash. After I use it, he wants to kiss me on the lips.

I wonder what is it that makes a cat become almost obsessive over a certain product.

Oh my - you would think it would taste awful to San. I would not let San lick your skin after applying the OFF product. Deet is toxic to cat's and dog's in high doses and they really should not ingest it. BUT a few licks here or there will not be a problem. But best to push San away from licking..... It is so odd that some cat's are attracted to certain smell's like that. Silly Ni, attracted to Listerine mouthwash laughing02.gifwavey.gif
