So I was at Aldi the other day doing some typical grocery shopping, and I saw these Andes creme de menthe baking chips....I just had to get them and try to bake something with them, since I have never seen these before...they were also 50% off, so that was great :) So I am making mint chocolate chip cookies this weekend...

I found this recipe

Pic from the same link (I hope it's okay for copyright since I have the link right above it)

I think they look absolutely delicious, and looking at the ingredients, I dont' think they can possibly be bad! I am soo excited about these, but I am waiting until the weekend to bake them, because it's too soon after Christmas now to be eating more unhealthy foods

What are your favorite cookies?? Do you have any good recipes?

Those cookies look good! I've never seen the creme de menthe baking chips around here. Interesting! I don't see a link to the recipe??

Go on over to The Recipe Exchange (in Social Groups) to find a nice assortment of cookie recipes! Just go up to Forums>>>>>then Social Groups. Once you're in Social Groups, go down to find The Recipe Exchange. (Or just follow the link in my signature)

My DIL made mint chocolate chip cookies for Christmas. They weren't green but they had chunks of creme de menthe and big chunks of chocolate. Best cookies I've ever eaten!!!!

I ended up making the cookies tonight.....OMG they were AMAZING! I put 1.5 cups of chocolate chunks and creme de me the chips, and 1 tbsp of peppermint extract instead of 1/4, and it turned out sooo good! Some people might say its too chocolatey but to me, there is no such thing as too much chocolate....

That is one philosophy I have no problem agreeing with!

I made those yesterday for no specific reason....They were perfect!!! I hope they are still good when they are not as fresh, because that was a big batch! It came to about 50 cookies so now I don't know what to do with them lol
Freeze them!

The pudding cookies stay moist for quite a bit in an air tight container (because of the pudding.)  Although let's face it when I bring food to work it hardly has the chance to sit around lol, it goes quickly.

Or if you or the people around you are strong willed, freezing them could work too!
