We just left NC, and finally made it to my daughter's in GA. We were getting stuff out of the truck, opened the door to go back in, and Scooter bolted. He is around close to the house, we have heard his odd little meow, and caught quick glimpses. I left his blanket on my daughter's porch, so he knows where he is if he decides he wants to. I think he is just scared and mad about the carrier. He howled all the way from NC, so I know he was mad. I think he will be ok. I am telling myself that, anyway.

:eek:hno: I am sorry to hear this news. Along with his blanket, leave out his favorite food. Hopefully he will just come onto the porch to eat and then will come to you :cross:. Loads of vibes that Scooter is back inside very soon :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes: Please keep us posted :vibes:

If you do go and search, do it also at late evenings and nights, when everything is quiet and they hear you and have easier to come forward.

How is it, is he shy to other people?

Writing him up on message boards around as Lost is usually a good idea. Possibly even promise some prize to the founder.

Good luck!    *vibes*

I have seen him once, and Mary heard him. She found out there is a lady down the street from her that will take in lost cats, but does not let them out for a few weeks in case she ends up keeping them or finding them a home. We are going to go see her tomorrow. I hope she has him, or knows where she is. If he is happy where he is, fine, I would love him to have him back, but am more concerned with his safety and and that he is being well cared for. Thanks for thinking about him and the kind words and vibes.

My daughter just called and said he is back at her house, footsore and hungry, but ok. She was outside and he just walked up and meowed at her. I am so glad my baby boy is back. He has eaten and is hanging out with Issac, her husband. I will get him tomorrow when I go over. I will sleep better tonight!

Update!!!!!!!!!!

Scooter came back to my daughter's house last night. She called and told me she had something that belonged to me, and it was red and fuzzy. He is skinny and of course hungry, but otherwise ok. I am going to get him today. He will come out here with the others, until we find a house. We are going to look at one today, hopefully to give a deposit.
