Our new cat hammock has been approved...

After seeing one of these in the SS swap pictures, I had to order one from Auntie Em!  It came today and Rex immediate laid claim.  Well, luckily, tonight, the old man stepped in and showed Rex who's boss!  LOL  Here is Blue happily approving our brand new cat hammock.

And here is one from earlier today when Rex refused to give up the throne.  LOL  Sorry it was blurry, but I just thought it was too funny seeing him sit there with all the other cats staring at him like that.  :)

He even stole the little cat nip pillow that was so graciously sent with the hammock!  LOL  That look he is giving Chloe is priceless!

 We are out of space to go "out" with them...but if Amy comes up with a way to go UP with them, we will be ordering!  Right now, Juno is having her turn in the hammock.  My cats are actually very nice about sharing...most of the time.

Hmm... that looks like it would be pretty easy, and fun, to make. Is it basically PVC with a piece of felt cut to fit? If so, I may have to attempt one of these myself.

It is actually fleece and it is sewn with pockets to fit. 

 

 

Here are few more pictures - Blue decided to join Juno this morning after we moved the hammock from the window to the spot closest to the wood stove!  I sat here in the chair beside than and oohhhed and ahhhed.  First, Blue got in and gave Juno a little bath while she purred like a motor.  Then he settled in and now they are sleeping soundly.  Juno is really the only cat that he will do that with since Sissy died.  It does my heart good to see it!
