Ouch - you get 100 per cent of my sympathies- my ears put me in hospital more than once in my life and I understand what you are going through. My mother used to tell me that in order to get rid of the pain in my ears I used bang my head against the wall. I occasionally get it - still revert to the old favourites here - pain killers, a hot water bottle on the side that is bad, even cotton wool with a little baby oil on has helped me in the past.
It tends to be an infection so penicillin has to be the answer for me. The other sort of ear ache is that I get from my other half - that never goes, is constant and gives me grief 24 - 7!! I like the last one best- I can shut off.
Hope you get well chuck I really do.

I can alway come over and stand hard on your foot- it will take your mind off it for a while......it will take 24 hours for the med to work - be patient and if the worst comes to the worst - I will be on line at 6.00am for a chat as always - unless I have a glass of something!

Yuck, I feel ya. I have really bad allergys and this sometimes allows gunk--yes medicial term--to become stuck in my estaustain tube. And when that happens, I hear other voices in my head(hehe), have major headaches and am all around whiny--eeee.

The cool part--if there is to be a cool part--would be at the doctors they vaccuum the "gunk" out through my nose. The first time I was really scared since they use novicane and I'd never had it. The drooling seems to be the worst part.

Good luck hope that clears up quick for you=^,,^=

Ear aches are the worst kind of pain. I used to get them when I was a kid. Ouch!

Hope you are better soon.

So far out in left field I got lost
I know how you feel, my last ear infection was so bad that the whole entire right side of my head was swollen. I couldn't drive a car or turn my head without falling over, hell I could barely even walk with out falling over. 3 office vistis, 4 prescriptions and 2 shots later I was feeling better. It took a good 2 weeks to get over it.
Hope you get to feeling much better real soon.
I feel your pain!
