1. A West Bend iced tea maker (very nice, BTW)

2.  A slate cheeseboard, with erasable name tags (for the cheeses)

3.  A Crock-Pot mini dipper (for hot dips/fondue)

4.  A 2-DVD set about a couple who lived with and photographed wolves

5.  An amethyst, citrine, tsavorite sterling silver pendant/chain (eBay)

6.  A Christmas Eve surprise gift (totally unexpected) of a pearl/diamond sterling silver pendant/chain

7. People at work mostly gave me candy, which I palmed off to a chocoholic friend (I'm a diabetic; these co-workers know that, but still give me sweets every darned year)

From my DH:

some candy, books by my favorite author, membership to the sports club I have been wanting to join because of the great mix of classes (anyone takes spinning?) and the sewing machine I have been drooling over all year.

my SS spoiled me and I noted what I got in the other thread

From mom and dad:

a cow ornament

really comfy cat print pj's

cow print slipper socks

Candy

a 40lb box of oranges/grapefruit

hot chocolate and candy

since my sibs and i all drew names out of a hat this year my oldest sister had to buy for me:

I got a new set of makeup brushes from MAC, some clothing and her homemade sugar scrub which is just amazing stuff.

grandma and grandpa got me an awesome scented candle

From my students:

I got gift cards to a whole bunch of places....Dunkin Doughnuts, Starbucks, etc.

Cash

I got 2 scarves

tons of ornaments

a canvas tote bag

candy and assorted food items

a fleece blanket

two students teamed up and wrote a song for me which was awesome.

I really didn't get anything to unwrap besides christmas cards BUT I got $100 cash from my grandparents on my mom's side then $50 from my grandma on my dad's side and then my parents gave me a $100 visa gift card. Matt's family gave me a $30 gift card to Petco and a tin of Christmas cookies.

Matt got me COD Black Ops so I can play online with my dad. I really hate playing online with other people because I'm not good multiplayer BUT Black Ops is the only COD game that you can play online private matches and have bot players too. Its nice having more than one person to shoot at and not worry about being constantly killed by annoying 12 year olds with fowls mouths.

I was soo surprised though because I got a card and some money from one of Matt's grandparents who live in Indiana! I was so surprised! I've only met them, I think only 2 times. Matt and his parents had warned me before the first time I met them that they'd either love me or hate me because there's no inbetween with them and that if they didn't like me I'd be ignored lol I guess getting money and a card means that they approve of me! :-D that makes me soo happy. I feel bad though, I would have sent them a christmas card if I knew I would be getting one from them, oh well, I'm mailing them a thank-you note tomorrow or the next to show my appreciation.

I also got a (I'm sorry) tacky leather wallet from an algerian guest at the hotel. I should be grateful but honestly the guy was a creeper and would spend hours sitting in the lobby just staring at me. The wallet looks like it used to be very nice when it was new, I can tell that it was handmade which is pretty cool BUT its a men's wallet so I'm not really sure what use I have for it. Plus I don't know anyone who would want it because its been heavily used by the looks of it.

I got the small TV for my room! I can now see the show I'm watching! YAY! I got a set of Saucony Visipro running clothes-a Jacket and a pair of gloves-both have an LED light and reflective strips so I am safer on the roads around here (NO street lights!!) They are both in the brightest pink you have ever seen, I LOVE them! I got winter compression pants too, my husband knows I want to run a half marathon next year so this is his show of support (he rocks!!). I got my annual Lighthouse ornament, two more beads (an angel and a turtle) for my Pandora, and he exchanged my broken Keurig for a new one, and I got coffee!!

My MIL got me a really nice sweater-it's a hoodie but a sweater, and it'll go with the boots I got for my birthday! My SIL (we do a gift exchange) got me a stand for my new Keurig, with a drawer to organize the K cups!

My daughter got me a slicer attachment for my Kitchen Aid Pro mixer, and a set of Juicy perfumes. My sons got me a mug set with lighthouses on them, and my youngest got me a really pretty green and white "diamond" ring at the holiday shoppe at his school. He knows Mama likes the sparklies!! he picked green for the Jets. (I don't wanna talk about it)

I am so blessed, since the money was tight, and we all had to plan ahead and save for the gifts. I'm grateful to have a wonderful family and great friends!!

A gift certificate to The Keg steak house

A box of herbal tea

A bottle of wine

Shower Gel

Hand lotion and a magenetic reminder for my fridge door.

A scented candle with a glass lampshade

I usually buy myself something too, but this year I didn't because I'm saving up to move and I also want to get a new living room set and a new bed.

Honey, believe me, he will LOVE anything you buy. Men are easy like that!
The more skin the better....gotta love em!
That is how my two other boyfriends where, now grant you they both died
. So, I clearly need to pick "healthier" ones. But really, this one says I like sexy, but that requires imagination. Yea this is what I get for dating a person with two Ph.D's. One in Calculus and one in Physics. He works as a physicist, explaining/practicing String Theory Physics.  Yea, to understand that stuff you need to have an imagination.

But really now, what happened to the man you described, the more skin the better
?

He got me a Couch bag and change purse. That is the most expensive bag I will ever own. It is hidden from dear sweet Loki.

I got this new computer.  Since the site changes, I could not come here at all because my computer just wouldn't download the pages.  I will be back.  Also, daughter gave me a new cashmere horse and carriage scarf from the Coach store.

I realize I am new here but I wanted to share how wonderful my friends and neighbors were to me this year. I received various denominations of gift cards to petsmart, those really are a great help. A gift certificate from my veterinarian,  he is always so good to me and my cats and dogs, and my sister made a beautiful wood cutting of a tiger for me. I gave all of them with pets my book on animal acupressure, hoping to help more animals. I spent the evening playing with cat and dog toys and cat nip craziness, it was a very good day.
