What a Great Idea!

What a great idea!  People go around paying off small lay-a-way accounts at Christmas.  It stands to reason that most smaller lay-a-ways around Christmas are for those who are having a financially difficult time.

I wish I had thought of this myself!  I'm definitely going to do this next year!!  To me Christmas is about giving and making people happy, and what better way to do that than to help out a stranger, completely annonymously!

I saw that; they're doing it at local KMart stores. One man whose account was paid off broke down and cried. All his stuff was for his children and he didn't have that much money; that's why he was doing it all on layaway. I just thought it was a wonderful idea.

I read an article about this other day. The reactions of the people who had their accounts paid off was heartwarming. Such a sweet story

I was talking to my brother a little while ago and mentioned this.  He was so moved that he wants to do this next year too! I'm so proud of him!!!!  He's usually such a miser and is always on my case about how freely I give away money to complete strangers!
