It's been a while... Long story short, since the site change I haven't been able to post from work, and the site is reaaaaaaallllly slow, so while I've lurked now and then I haven't been around much. I think there's a problem with my browser at work, but I can't exactly go to the IT guy and tell him I can't get onto The Cat Site, could he please fix it? laughing02.gif

 

For those of you who kept encouraging me to get another cat, I have some news that I just had to come here to share...

I will try to get better about checking from home, and hopefully one day I'll figure out what the problem is from work. I miss checking in here during my downtime!

yeah, IT would probably frown on that one. Thanks for checking in and posting pics of your new baby boy though. He is gorgeous, but I have a thing for black and white kitties.

You know, I've been wondering about you. I know IT wouldn't be real happy about fixing the site issue for you, but I have missed you. Glad to know you're OK.....and Daymon is gorgeous!

I had to reset my browser, and manually find TCS through google and update all my TCS links to get it working well here at work, I had the same issues as you. Try the suggested?

Oh that sucks! I didn't put your disappearance together with the forum platform switch. frown.gif But I've been missing you and precious Holland! And now we have a beautiful brother!!!! You'd better get this figured out at work without IT somehow. laughing02.gif

I have the same problem!  I used to access during my lunch time (since it doesn't take me an hour to eat), but since the switch, it's almost impossible to access from work. 

 

Congratulations on your new kitty!  He's very handsome and I hope his transition goes smoothly.

I can still access from work, but it's very slow. We use IE 9 and are not allowed to use anything else. Slow is better than none!

 

There's a rumor going around that they're trying to figure out the sites that people are using most at work and then they're going to start banning them. So far, except for You Tube, that hasn't happened. I can understand their reasoning; after all, we're supposed to be working, not hitting the internet. But still......when I come back from my lunch walk, I like to check out the board.
