A few months ago, somewhere around Halloween, someone posted a msg about a stray kitty that she called "Alejandro". I know the person who posted lived in Puerto Rico. She was having a terrible time trying to find a home for the kitty because nobody seemed to want an all black cat --- stupid Halloween superstition. And the few people who offered to take him just wanted to leave him outside to kill nice. This story has just stuck with me and I don't remember reading any outcome. Does anyone know what happened to Alejandro?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Thank you for the reply. For some reason I just kept wondering and worrying about the poor baby. I'm so glad that he found his forever home --- and thank you for your answer.

It was me! Sorry , i didn't see this thread! My precious Alejandro was adopted by a very loving couple who wanted a kitten, They promised to neuter him and he was going to be an indoor boy. I don't have any updates, but they are very nice people and I pray to God he is doing well in his new home. It was very hard for me to give him up because I found him when he couldn't even walk, he was tiny and I loved him.
Thank you sooo much for remembering our story and thank you jcat for sharing the thread:)
Hugs!
Tammy

Tammy - I'm so happy to hear the good news. I can't tell you how many times I've thought of your story and wondered what happened. If I didn't have 3 of my own (and I know some people have a lot more) I would have told you to put him on a plane and send him here to Florida. It was VERY tempting. I'm sure the people who adopted him are giving him a wonderful home. If you hear any followups we'd all love to know. It was a very special story.

Thank you both so much! I loved that kitten and he would have stayed with me if I hadn't find him a home, I'm not supposed to because I really can't afford another kitty and Lucas can be under stress, but I would have kept him because he deserved a home. Thank God my prayers were answered and he has a home and so does Valentino, who I rescued at the same time.
