I have a 3 month old kitten who was fine when I went to bed. She cuddled with me like normal. Was crazy and hyper before that. (back story she is completly indoor. She stays in my room.) I woke up to her meowing and then she puked I got up and turned my light on to clean it up and there were about 7 or 8 spots on my hardwood floor. There were a couple with food in them then they started to get whiter and foamyer. The last few were completely white foam. Now she is sleeping silently next to me but all of that was in a span of 3 hours. One of the puddles of puke that had a little food in it looked like it had a tiny rubberband in it BUT looking closer it was a tiny worm like thing...HELP?! I plan on taking her to the vet when I get off work this afternoon. She has not had her shots yet and is not fixed. She has only been around her siblings and mom and one other indoor cat. Anything helps please! I put the picture of the ” worm” as my avatar

Hi, CyndeeBurgess! Welcome to TCS!

Worms can definitely cause vomiting episodes, although it might be unusual for it to hit so hard all at one time as you describe. I think you're doing exactly the right thing by taking your little kitty to the vet today! Whatever the problem, you've caught it early!

Sending you lots of get-an-easy-to-fix-diagnosis vibes!

P.S. What's your girl's name?

Worms can definitely cause such episodes, and, unfortunately, many treatments for worms may precipitate it, too.  Virtually all kittens have some worms by the time they are weaned and need to be treated for them.

Well I brought the worm to the vet and they said it was a round worm and gave me wormer. Milton is already feeling better and trying to eat my arm as we speak. She is obnoxious. Haha I love her tho.

Glad she's feeling better already, CyndeeB, and doubly glad it was such an easy fix!
