Mixed breed?

hi my kitten is 2yrs old and she has green eyes,grey body she talks alote and nice kitten, sleeps wit us in beds when i got her her old owner told us she was part siamese/russian blue  i would like to learn more bout her

We want to see pics!

 

The old owner talking about part siameses and part russian.  Did he had any proof whatsoever, there were russian and siamese parentage, or it was some brave guessing?

 

Brave guessing we can do ourselves, you know!   :)

 

Sorrowfully, if you arent sure she has decisive rus/sia parentage, you cant get know anything about her by comparing with rus / sia...  You must play it by the ear, and a overall knowledge about cats.

She sounds beautiful! But Stefan is right, it is impossible to know without definite information. The random gene pool throws up cats with all sorts of characteristics, which of course is how the 'breeds' were developed in the first place. But it would be lovely to see pictures.

Why the previous owner did talked about part Rus and part Sia, we readers dont know yet, but the look seems to be a look alike of a decent, pet quality russian blue.

 

The eyes looks yellow on pictures, but TS  Joey writes they are green.  And I believe it. I had seen yellow eyes on pictures off  show winning russian blues.  So they MUST have been beatifully lively green in reality. With yellow eyes he wouldnt never win anything, not even the grade excellent.

Pictures really don't always show true colors. Jamie has gorgeous green eyes, but they often look yellow in photos.
