BOTH cats not eating (much)??

Not sure if this should be in behavior or nutrition.. but I decided its more behavioral than anything.

I find this strange, especially for Picasso who's rarely seen without her face in the bowls.

for the past 3 days, BOTH of my cats aren't eating, if more than a few bites of wet food. They always ate their wet food when I put it down, if not, they always come back within 20 minutes to finish it off. I always give them a different flavor/brand each day (usually Soulistic and Trade Joe's, non-fish flavors.. Fish flavor rarely in between for a treat)

First day, both of them refused to eat their Trader Joes food.. I chalked it up to something's up with the can if both refused. They ate their wet food for dinner though which is the Soulistic brand.. but they took their sweet time eating it. They both even pawed at the food as if burying it, which is unusual for them.

Breakfast yesterday, Trader Joe's, sat out for about 3 hours before they finally relucently ate it.

Picasso only ate a few bites of their dinner last night of Soulistic, and the bowls remained full till this morning.

Picasso had a few bites of breakfast today, so far nothing for Monet (food's been out for a few minutes though) and I gave them the fish flavored Trader Joe's, which usually never failed for them.

It's strange to see the half of cup of dry food lasting more than an hour, let alone all day and night (some left in the bowl, they've eaten a bit). They've always ate their wet food as soon as I put the bowl down (though sometimes Monet would take a few bites, walk away and eat the rest later)

What's up with the cats? They're both acting fine, very alert and playful, nothing's changed with either of them at all. Fur and eyes look great as well as ears. Just their eating habits changed.. they happily eat their treats. Did Picasso finally understand my complaints that she's getting chubby each time I see her head in the bowl?!

I am wondering if I ruined the Trader Joe's food by leaving it in my car overnight which got very cold (not freezing cold, but cold enough) and brought it back to room temp?

Monet's due for his annual check up soon. I didn't make the appointment yet, waiting till after the holidays, but debating on making it sooner if this keeps up. It's clear now that Monet lost some weight since I got Picasso, though he needed to lose a pound or two. He's much leaner now with his constant playing with her and increased activity.. I am not concerned about his weight loss, I just don't want him losing any more now.

One cat not eating, can indicate a problem.. but BOTH cats tells me it could be something else?

And on a side note, how long is wet food good for if left out? I'd hate to pick it up too soon if they were saving it if they 'buried' their food. I usually pick it up when I see it starting to dry out.

I'd bring them to the vet. When my last cat didn't eat, it was because he was sick.

It's possible they got something and gave it to each other?

They may not be sick, and it may be something else, but I'd want to check just in case.
