So far out in left field I got lost
Dad has taken a turn for the worse. His surgery was called off. This morning early he started to run a high fever. Before he went into surgery the Doc checked him and he has fluid on his lungs. They have moved him in the IMCU unit so they can keep a closer watch on him and try to get the fluid off his lungs by giving him a diuretic and antibotics through the veins.

Hopefully the lungs will be clear in the morning enough for him to go through the surgery. I went in to see him for a very limited time since they will not let you into to see patients for very long in the IMCU unit. He looks so bad
We all thought that he was getting better yesterday when he was acting more like himself because of the blood transfusion and Dialysis treatment of the day before. Please keep praying!

Oh, I'm so sorry he's not doing better. I'll be keeping him in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear that things are still not going well with your dad.
What is his first name? I find it easier to pray when I have a name.

Take care of yourself. You need to stay strong.

Well I just got in from the hospital. It seems Dad got a Staph infection from the shunts that was inserted in his chest for the Dialysis treatment. The Doctor has removed the shunts and has Dad on an IV antibotic for the infection. He looks much better this afternoon, however he is still so weak that he can't hold his fork to eat by himself and also needs help to repostion in the bed. If things go well for the next couple of days Dad will have surgery to correct the kidney problem.

Thanks to all of you from the whole entire family. We appreciate all of your well wishes and prayers. Please continue to pray for Dad
