Vibes for Ruby (and her scared mommy...)

My Ruby has not been feeling well the past couple of days, sleeping a lot and hiding more than usual.  She has been gradually acting better though--yesterday was better than the day before, and today much better than yesterday.

But earlier this evening, I noticed one of her ears looked a bit yellow.  Not the whole ear, really--mostly just the area right in front of the ear where the hair is sparse.

I am freaking out   Yellow skin only means one thing, right? 

I am going to call the vet first thing in the morning...but until then, any vibes/prayers are appreciated.

Thank you!  We've got an appt for 2:30 tomorrow.  I debated whether or not to make the appointment, because the yellow really isn't very pronounced, but better to be safe...

In everything I have read about liver problems, it seems like the cat isn't eating, but Ruby is eating and drinking.  Is there anything else that can cause yellowish skin? 

Did you get to the Vet?  What did they say?  Yes, yellow does usually mean liver issues, so if you cancelled that appointment, please get her in as soon as possible.
