My friend has a 19 year old cat who's had some health issues, but who has been doing very well. However, she's starting to not eat very well at all. My friend is taking her to the vet this afternoon for fluids and maybe syringe feeding (the vet saw the cat just last week) - I'd appreciate any good thoughts you could send Sammie's way. Thanks!

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

A happy update as of today - my friend was taught how to administer fluids, and they were able to get kitty to eat Royal Canin recovery food at the vet's - and so far her appetite has stayed good and she seems happier and more active.
