First of all! Meow to everyone.  :3

I just adopted a new kitten of 3 months age. She is not eating anything! I gave her some cat food, nothing! I gave her fish and milk, no response! She just meows and purrs and sleeps in my lap. She follows me around from room to room and will only sleep on my lap. I had her vaccinated yesterday. Please help! I never had pets before. Is there something I'm doing wrong? She only drinks water and peed twice on my bathroom mat. She has not pooped. I'm really worried!

Hi, first Welcome to TCS

How long have you had the kitten? Has she ate since she came to you, it could be that she is still getting used to her new environment, or could be a bit groggy from her vaccinations.

Have you spoken to your vet about the eating and litterbox issues?

Yes I have. He simply said she is getting used to her new environment give her sometime. but it's been over 32hours since she moved in her new home. I'm just worried. Is this normal? I have to get her vaccinated again 21 days later as suggested by the vet.

My guess she is down under the weather and dont eating, because of the vaccination. Not all cats are it, but not uncommon.

It is quite common new cats dont eat a couple of days, but the same cats do usually hide more or less.

But yours isnt hiding, she accepts. you as her mom, so it isnt it.

Contact the vet if it gets any worse - not as newcomer not eating, but reacting to vacc.

Good luck!   *vibes*
