These are words of appreciation.  Dedicated to my feline companions, my four girls and one boy.

To little people who changed my life forever.

There are pictures of them below the writing.

I AM A LOT LIKE THEM...

Even though...

My body is naked and not pretty, it's ugly and broken, old and slow. - Their bodies are covered with lush fur so soft and smooth; they are graceful, swift, strong and full of life.

(I become alive when I watch them play.)

My eyes are just a common shade of grey, and colour is dull. - Their eyes sparkle in all colors and shades, reflecting their soul so brilliantly; I can clearly see how beautiful their souls are.

(When I look into their eyes - my eyes catch that glint and change attitude of colour intensity from dull to shiny and vibrant.)

At times my eyes reflect darkness and hatred, I turn away many just through staring. - Their eyes pour out so much love and affection, their gaze heals wounded hearts, attracts and draws others into their space of support and sharing.

(When I think of them – my energy is re-vitalized and is kind, and people are drawn to me.)

My being is confused and sorrowful in many ways, my personality is in pieces. - Their being is so clear, powerful and divine; their personalities shine as a whole.

(They are ready at any time to share their divinity with me and I feel elated and happy just through being with them.)

I am an immature, poorly evolved human being; my mind is closed up and corrupted due to many hurts. – Their feline being radiates wisdom of old, spiritual awareness and unconditional love of ages.

(They gave me their company, shared their knowledge with me and showed me the way to be a happy being, the way of acceptance, the way of patience, the way of love.  By their example I am led to see and feel a tranquil beauty of all Nature, and a way to my soul sisters and brothers in it.)

I met them long time ago as Nature Spirits and I knew I will meet them again and again, and I did.  My lives will never be without them - this was a promise.

(And a promise of my own being is to protect and love them in return.  And I will keep this promise always.)

Yes, deep inside I am a lot like them.  And I am forever grateful.

I'm now short of one - Johnie is now in a better place, or didn't yet come to me in his possibly current life.

I also never shared my new additions who just appeared out of who knows where...

Well one I did share on this site (Trudy).  She appeared literally from who knows where and stayed with us.

Here is her most recent pic:

And last but not the least - two lions:  Leo & Shumba.  They are with us just over a month and they are just over 4 month old now:

So, no need to say - my dedication naturally goes to all new addition as well!

Ambermay, I had to respond to what you wrote. I don't actually know how to respond but your words just made me want to give you a hug.

Thanks for a hug,   I was in-need of it since April last year.  Still do.  Thank you very much...
