My kitten Sparrow (Baby) started walking funny a couple days ago. It's like he can't get traction on his right hind leg. His other 3 are fine. I've been checking it several times a day and I feel no injuries, abrasions, nothing unusual. His leg looks and feels exacly like the other. When I check it he doesn't make a fuss or pull away. He walks on doesn't seem to hurt him. He jumps up and down normally and eats and drinks like the little pack mule he is. He loves to be held and babied and that hasn't changed. The other cats don't treat him differently. He uses the box and his er, bodily functions are normal. Everything is fine except his right hind leg slips when he walks. Not just on the linolium, but the carpet and furniture too. He hasn't had any falls or injuries that I know of. I took my cat Scrappie to the vet today to have stiches removed and asked our vet and he was stumped. I do plan on taking Baby back (ha ha) there soon for another bout of medication for his eyes so he told me to hold off unless something changes (he acts like he's in pain, stops eating/drinking, etc.) I was wondering if anyone had a kitten/cat with this issue before and if so what did you do? Did it heal on it's own?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Maybe Sparrow just landed wrong from a jump? If your vet told you to hold off until you take him back for his eye meds, then do so....as long as it's within a few days. But he probably should be seen and if Sparrow starts acting like he's in pain, then he'll need to be seen sooner. I've never had a kitten act this way, so I'm stumped, too. Hopefully somebody will be able to give you some better advice.

Not sure..... AWW poor Baby. But it sounds like he is not in pain, so that is good. It could be a pulled or strained muscle from playing for falling off of something. See how he does over the next day or so. Then ask your vet again. Hope Baby will be better very soon
