Hello,
A week ago I trapped a Siamese cat that I had been feeding outside my door since at least spring. My heart breaks when I see them. So I found a great barn home where they will be spayed/neuter, get their shots, and vet care. Except for the the one who is in my home. I decided this kitty was too beautiful, and wanted to find him a home. I have done this, and he will be going to his new home on December 23. I found a free neuter clinic, who gives shots also, and that is scheduled. He is a chocolate point siamese. I ran a found ad in the local newspaper, but nobody responded, which doesn't surprise me.
I have four inside cats of my own. I cannot take him for testing for the diseases cats get, because of my very limited income. So, he is separated from mine. He is very friendly. The thing I am concerned about is leaving him in one room for the next two weeks. I did switch him to another room in my apt.
Am I doing the right thing by switching rooms? Or should I leave him in one room for the next two weeks? I want to do what is best for him, and for my own cats.
My question is, should I continue to change rooms every few days, or leave him in one room?
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it!!
