2 cats, currently 2 boxes in use. Ok well I technically have 4 boxes out but 2 of them will be removed soon since they aren't being used anymore from what I can tell. We switched to Tidy Cat Breeze litter system about a week ago and both cats are using the new boxes exclusively. If I could find another place in this house to have a 3rd box location that the dogs couldn't get to I'd have another as I like the 1 each plus one concept.

Anyway

1. 2 cats

2. 2 boxes

3. I scoop whenever I see poop in the box, but allow a little time for it to dry first so less mess in scooping. A couple times a day minimum.

4. When I used clumping litter I kept about an inch to inch and a half in the boxes. Now with the Breeze I use one bag of pellets and top off as needed if it gets too low. My cats like to use the edges of the box sometimes so I have to make sure those areas have pellets too.

5. once a week was what I did with clumping and monthly the recommended time frame with the Breeze pellets and weekly with the pads, with 2 cats that use one box more than the other I've been changing the pad about every 4 days in the popular box.

6. When I used clumping I tried quite a few brands and always came back to Petco's brand. Now I'm using Tidy Cat Breeze though.

7 Petco litter, hmmm a bucket a month? Breeze, I haven't used for a whole month yet.

1. How many cats do you have?

7 and litters of kittens

2. How many litter boxes do you have?

8-10

3. How deep do you keep your litter?

1 inch or less

4. How often do you scoop your litter?

Twice a day

5. How often do you completely change out the litter in the box?

Never, though the trays are disinfected weekly and the bottom tray washed every other day.

6. What brand of litter do you most often use?

Oz Pet wood pellets, used with a sieve tray. The pee passes through, wet pellets breakdown to sawdust and fall through with a shake of the sieve so less litter is wasted. I will not use clumping litter, Oz Pet (similar to feline pine) is perfect for our household.

I sometimes use a tray of Breeders Choice (recycled paper litter) for young kittens.

7. How much litter would you say you go through a month, for all of your boxes combined?

Less than 15kg/33lb a month

4. How often do you scoop your litter? Daily, sometimes twice

6. What brand of litter do you most often use? Swheat Scoop

7. How much litter would you say you go through a month, for all of your boxes combined?  30 pounds.  When I change it I buy 2 15lb boxes of Target, dump one full one in, and part of the second one until it gets to the level I want.  Then I use the 2nd to replace litter as I clean it throughout the month.  It's $12 a box, so $24 a month.  Once I get my second box it may go up a bit, but I'll likely need to change it completely less often, so it may wash anyway.

When she is gone, I will likely switch back to clumping.
