Best decision for my cat?

I need some advice...

My ex-boyfriend got me a cat 4 years ago and has lived with him and 6 other cats ever since. We have lived together and have always been in an "on and off" relationship, so when we are "off" I cannot see her. Currently, I have my own apt. and cannot have pets with me, or else I would have her. I love this cat more than anything in this world and she is everything to me, being away from her is torture.

My  question is ...When my lease is up I am going to move out into a place where I can have her. Is it wrong me for to take her away from the other cats that she has been with her whole life? If she lives with me, it will just be me and her. So confused, I dont want her to be unhappy and lonley but on the other hand she is mine and I seriously hate living without her.

HELP!

Thanks

She may miss the other cats, but if it's you she's bonded with, she'll be happy enough.  And maybe you could get her a companion.

I agree. If she has bonded with you, she will be happy wherever she is as long as she's with you. But once you get settled into your new place and things get into a bit of a routine for both of you....if she seems a little lonely, you might want to consider a companion for her.

I went through a sort of similar situation when I took Loki away from my bf and his cat. I was so so worried he would be lonely and have a hard time adjusting. Both of them took to it like champs and honestly I think they were happier without each other. Now they're back together and that's a whole nother story ;). I learned that cats are pretty adaptable.
