This might be a dumb question but how can u tell that cats can see more than black/white and that the colors do not appear the same to them as to humans??
You would have to ask the researchers that did the study. They don't explain how they know, they just tell you what a cat can see. It is in several books as well as a few specials done on TV.
In a few of the books I have read, I've learned that cats don't see as well as I do out of the corner of their eyes. They also see green and blue, but not red. They focs on the middle of the picture, and everything on the outside is cloudy. At least that what my book tells me
