I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

This site has some good info. If you wiped him off and dried him and didn't see any dye on his coat then I'd say it's unlikely anything bad would come of it. He could be cleaning himself because you messed up his scent in that area. Encourage him to drink water to flush out the toxins. If you're really worried and convinced he ingested some, take him to the vet to be observed while you're at work.
What kind of hair dye?
Hope it works out ![]()

Yeah, most cats regard anything we do to their fur as an insult.
He should be fine. Don't beat yourself up; you're providing a much safer environment than being outdoors would be for him.

Doesn't dye have a lot of ammonia in it? Maybe he's licking it because he's attracted to the smell.

She will be fine, I am sure it was not a lot and you wiped it off. My daughter got hair dye on one of the cat's a few years back, kitty was just fine
