No Daisy, Speck, Buster, or Blackberry!

Blackberry is technically the neighbors' cat.  I don't know what they call her, but when she's in our house, she's Blackberry.

Thank you for sharing the link.

No Riley on there, but since I often times refer to him as Riley Kitten or just plain Kitten, half of it is there

Kitten and Kitty are both on the list? I have never heard of anyone naming their cats either of those.

Neither have I (except on The Closer!). But the list came from Banfield, right? If I bring a litter of stray kittens in to my vet, he'll list them as "kitten" (since you need to put something into the computer). And unnamed stray cats are "kitty". I wonder if Banfield does the same thing. That would explain those 2 names being so high on the list.

I don't think they should have listed "Sam" and "Sammy" separately.

We had a Lily, the name of the little kitten that my sister took, but she passed away. That's it. I always think it's so interesting the names we all choose for our cats.....or the names that our cats tell us, as the case may be.

Interesting link!

Most of those names are unexpected to me. I figured Tigger and Tiger would be up there, but the rest? not really. So many human names!

Boy, people have no creativity.... Unfortunately its all true, working in a pet hospital I know.

The best critter names I heard of were a pair of cats (one is now deceased) named "Parasite" and "Host".

I don't have any cats by those names. However years ago I did have a "Shadow."

I try to stay way from mainstream popular names for my cats, and tend to go with names that could also be given to people.

I think the names the people of this forum are more cleaver and fit the cat they have. I keep the list of names everyone had on here. Just in case I get another homeless kitty. Popular doesn't nescasarily mean good.

Cute!

We have a Lola & Maddie

But more times than not we call them "Homeland Security" and "Queen of England" to fit their personalities better

I have a Lily (who is actually Lillian but we usually call her Lilly).  I also have a Boo, Walt, Tucker, and Roland.
