Nail art feedback, please? I so want to win :)

I've been taking my nail art very seriously and practicing regularly. I came across a little give away for the best winter/holiday nail designs, so immediately I went to work. I came up with two different ideas. Honest opinions, which is best to enter with? 

Note: The outside scene didn't have a topcoat yet in the picture so its not all shiny and smooth.

First design:  (Tree base came out too large but easily fixed)

They're all really pretty.  I like the santa ones in the first pic, but the outdoor scenes are more intricate and I really like those :)

Like the first the best! Both of them are good, but the second design just seems a bit sloppy to me. Good luck!

I sponged on the blue in the second one which makes it look a bit off. I only had a nice blue in a nail art pen with a thin brush and they dont paint a whole nail very well, plus I had to do it with nail polish that dried in seconds. Acrylic paint would have been so much better. lol

Love the holiday trees in the first one with the konad stamp of santa!!! I wish I was that talented.. Good luck!!!! If you don't mind me saying something put a little loose glitter on the christmas balls on the trees to bring that holiday sparkle to them. Yes if you haven't guessed by now I'm an esthetician and do nails lol.. The trees are just really pretty and more original than the second pic..bigwink.gif

Wow - you're so talented! Both are absolutely lovely. I love the tree in the first one, as well as the snowman nail in the second photo.

I wish you lived nearby.  Dottie wants to treat herself to a full Christmas set of nails, and I really like the first set (although I think the tree needs to be lighter, maybe).

Thanks everyone! I am finishing up my other hand for the second picture. (Yes, its taken me 3 days because I have a short attention span at times) and then I gotta put together my video to submit my entry. The second design seems to be getting the most positive feed back from people I've asked even on FB...so I will probably enter them. I am gonna hunt for another contest and enter the first ones too though.

 

@mrblanche: I wish I was closer too, I would have loved to do them for her :). I have a list of people who want theirs done now. My SIL is next up. Oh, and the tree wasn't really all that bright...my camera sort of exaggerated the color a bit. lol
