. I think he may be a siamese mix
Do you have any reason to think so?

True, he doesnt look like the most common "peasant cat", or whiskas cat. He may have a dosage of Oriental in him. Or Siameses...

Orientals are  essentially a twin breed of siameses, without the "masque" and usually(?) with solid color on the body.  Masqued orientals are even  registered as siameses, and vice versa...

Mixed out Siameses dont have masque either, as the point gene is recessive.

Both are possible among ancestors, although siameses are more common than orientals...

Good luck!

Several breeds have large ears and so do lots of random-breed cats - moggies.  Any reason beyond the ears for thinking your cat might have some Siamese in him/her?

The shape of his face is what made me think siamese and his profile seems very long and narrow to me. He is incredibly vocal and I know this may sound crazy but we have conversations :) haha. I think he is definitely a moggie, he's just the most different looking cat I've ever owned. This is the closest to a side view I could find. Thank you for your input!

It strikes me, he may even have a "bald cat" ancestry, although having fur... Sphynx-head...  As almost seen on the latest photo...

Any Sphinx in his background seems very unlikely to me as they are rare and expensive cats.  Some Siamese is far more likely, but at the end of the day he's a lovely cat that is your cat whatever his background.  And remember, if you go back far enough all pedigress are 100% moggie!

(sorry for the bad quality photos) what breed is my cat? her tail is bent at the tip but only noticeable when you pet it and is medium length, she is medium in size and her legs are kind of stuby.

Most cats are not a mix of pedigree cats, yours is a lovely domestic long hair

I just want to know what kind of coat my kitten has and/or is going to have (I know she's a tabby of some sort, but other than that I have no clue). It'd be nice to know if I should be prepared for a long or short haired cat.

This is the best picture I have of her.

It'd also be nice to know what color category she falls under.

She is a tortie tabby - can't see any white but suspect she has some somewhere.  That foot looks pale not sure if it's white or it's the way the photo has come out.  Shorthair I think.

It's a cream color(or an off-white). The camera on my phone sometimes has the habit of doing that.

Agree with black tortie tabby (without white) looks like a shorthair with a dense coat. Pretty multi-coloured paw pad :)

Hi,

This is my kitty Slynx, I've had her since she was 5 weeks old and the one thing I always get asked when people see he is "What breed is she?"...I always say DLH. I found her on craigslist and the woman who had her said that they found the litter abandoned on their property. I would love to know what breed she is or what breeds she may have in her...everyone that meets her says that she is the cutest cat they have ever seen.

Since she doesn't have papers she's a moggie :). But her flatter muzzle would suggest some Persian or Exotic heritage.
