Sorry about last week. I have been extremely busy with work.

Christmas trees.... How big do you go? Artificial or real? When do you it up?

I haven't really had a tree for a couple of years. I just don't have the room for a tree. When I do have one, I love a real one. I love the smell. I do have a tiny one that I may put on my table. I just don't know when I will dig it out and put it up.

Our three trees are right around 7 to 7-1/2 feet. All fake. With the cats, there's just no way we can do real trees. We put our living room tree up at Thanksgiving weekend and that's the only tree this year. (I really miss my Tacky White Tree in the kitchen, but Tabby would have it in shreds and there would be shattered blue balls all over the kitchen floor. I'm not taking chances with kitty paws getting cut, so no Tacky White Tree.)

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
I don't know how tall our tree is but we go fake. GiGi likes to demolish the tree so the only decoration is lights and garland. This year I didn't bust out the big tree. I have a little one I will get out but I don't wanna.deal with putting it up and taking it down. Lol I'm too tired

We've got a fake tree that's about 3 feet high. It goes up some time between the weekend before Christmas and Christmas Eve. It's usually the latter, but I think I'll put it up earlier because this will probably be Jamie's last Christmas, and the tree is the high point of the year for him.

I have a 7.5' artificial tree and I normally put it up the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday.) This year however, I was very late putting up my tree (My nephew and I put it up two days ago and finished decorating it yesterday. :)

I do love the smell of the live trees though, so I plan to get two tiny little live trees to leave out! :)

Since my white 4' tree that's a  few years old has turned yellow and needles falling off, I couldn't find another 3-4' tree anywhere! So I found a cute little fake 2' tree that I added red lights and red bows to.

We have a 7 foot artificial tree.  At least I think it's 7'....it's tall.  Hehe.  I don't do live trees.  I haven't had one since I was a kid.  That year our tree dropped most of it's needles by Christmas.  I never liked the prickliness of them anyway.  Mom and I stepped on needles till we moved out of that place.

I saw Walmart has these wooden sticks you can hang in your artificial tree that give off the scent of different types of trees.  They smelled pretty good in the package; but I was afraid it would attract the cats to the tree so I didn't get any.  I do love the smell of fresh evergreens.  There is a property up the road from me that has several acres of them and sometimes you can smell it just driving down the road.

I wanted a real tree. But found out it isn't safe. I might make an infestment in a clearance tree after Christmas this year. Safe my money for it. A big one. five foot.

I prefer real trees, but with the kitty, and the fact that I like to put the tree up in early November, we opt for a fake tree. I put the tree up the first week of November, and then decorated it a week later. To make up for the lack of Christmas tree smell, I use scented candles and diffusers to make the house smell like a real tree. The tree is about 6.5 feet tall and used to be the BFs mom's tree, so she gave it to him when she got a new one. It works for now, but I am keeping my eye out for a more full tree, as the current one the branches aren't that full!

Ours is about 8 feet tall and fake fake fake.  I have kids and cats.  Not taking any risks, lol!  Though I do long for a real one.... sigh.

and artificial here too
. But we haven't put it up in three years, the cat's eat it
.
I was thinking on trying to find a artifical tree(Christmas or not)for the cats to climb in. Yes I do everything for them. My mother hates that and won't come over anymore because my whole house is inner mixed with cat toys and cat furnture. That isn't how you run your househol in her view. Mine does.
