Clicking on "New Posts" is doing nothing

It has been working, but now when I click on "New Posts," nothing happens.  Using Firefox 8.  Cleared my cache, no change.

 

If I wait quite a while (say, 30 seconds), it starts working again.

I have been having trouble with it today, too. A couple of times I have logged off or gone round a different way to get into it, and hten it has worked. It was OK the last time I tried, though, about 30 minutes ago

I have problems w/ it working. I finally figured out it's that my page is still loading, once it's done 'thinking' the new posts works fine. Not sure if that's the problem you're having or not.

Yes, it usually works if you wait awhile. But it seems to have only started needing this extra time today - before it was almost instant.

Is it still not working? Huddler is still tweaking the software (some updates are being rolled out today) and the ongoing work might be affecting things temporarily.

It worked OK this morning, but only if I wait until all the overhead has loaded.  And, I have to say, as someone who frequently visits the forum with mobile devices (my phone, my Nook, or my Ipod Touch) that all that overhead makes this a rather mobile-unfriendly site.

A mobile version is in the works, but I have no idea how long that'll take. I've been using Tapatalk, which is pretty fast, but only offers a "stripped-down" version.
