hey guys

im new to this but love reading everyone exp on there cat giving birth. Well i have have a cat who is currently pregnant what was planned so not looking at people telling me i should get them fixed etc. I think shes in her last couple of days as i think i no the dates of the week she was on heat for, her nipples are big and pink mainly the bottom two and i can see her kittens moving from a fair distance away aswell as feelin them when i feel her belly softly and its been like that for at least a good week n a half :) she seems to want to get in the cupboards alot more now and all she does is sleep and eat. What i wanna no is did everyone notice discharge from her nipples? and did there cat continue to eat up to when she went to labour? i want to hear all ur storys and tips on ur exp on ur cats birth :) i will reply and keep updated on our journey.

Hi!   Sorry nobody answered earlier, not even me...   :(

I suppose people dont always feel to retell their stories in new treads...  So willy - nilly, you Aimee must read through other treads to find the stories. Because they ARE there....   :)

I did now noticed you did also HAD a couple of direct questions.

I think the answer is, it is different.

Both some discharge from the nipples is common, but not always.

Many cats ends eating shortly before the delivery.  But apparently not all do it...

Some "soon to be" momas gets a more rare poo, almost diarrhéa, but again not all...

Keep us updated!

Good luck!   *vibes*

Lots of variables with pregnant girls, even from litter to litter. My girls (registered breeder) have gone off food and other times eaten right up to almost the moment they go into labour

I'm in SA too, let me know if you need a vet recommendation to get the kittens & mum desexed from 10 weeks
I'm up in the hills but know breeders all over who can point you to a vet in your area.

Hi Aimee!  Your mama kitty is so beautiful, I have no doubt that the kittens will be too.  Has she had her kittens yet?  I'm waiting, my cat is due sometime in the next few days and the waiting is driving me CRAZY!!  Hope everything is going well for your kitty, and post pictures of the fuzzy little ones!!
