Tabby is the first feral we've had with a medical problem (we were aware of) that we weren't able to get treated. Earlier this year - late spring/early summer, she was not walking on her front right leg/paw. We couldn't see an injury, and suspected a broken leg or sprained ankle.

But it healed.
Two days ago she was favoring the paw again. And as she's become much friendlier over the months, FINALLY I was able to get her to eat in the crate. I closed the door, and off we went.
The vet we don't like at this clinic as on duty tonight. So she's being boarded for the night, and our vet will see her tomorrow.
If you could spare some vibes that this is something easily treatable (at this point)... we'd really appreciate it! Her winter coat has come in so full and thick... but it's been unseasonably warm, and it's about to get really cold. I SO don't want to have to keep her in for any length of time.....

In fact - no indication of ANY kind of problem with her foot or leg! So while we don't know why she's favoring it... at least there's not something that needs to be treated.

I didn't even see this yesterday but already knew about our little darling Tabby.
So very lucky to have you watching over her and caring for her

We do it so very well, too and most times answer our own questions

. And now that will freeze
The kitties will be fine in their wonderful, fur coats they are sporting for the winter month's. But it is hard not to worry. Tabby will recover from her vet trip and soon will show herself. She is there
, just being inconspicuous
Thank GOODNESS our vet lets us pay when we can, I was NOT expecting that one.
....... But that is always better than the other, bad news. At least you will know now if she is limping again that it is nothing that needs to be treated.
