I haven't seen one of these yet, so since it's the holiday season, I thought I'd start one. :D

I have many, many things to be thankful for, but here are my top three.

1. My scholarship. Being able to acquire an undergraduate degree debt-free is something rare these days, and I'm extremely thankful for it.

2. My family. I am quite different from most of my family, and decidedly non-traditional in the way I live my life, but they love me anyway. And somehow, we all manage to get along pretty well. :lol3:

3. My own health, and the health of my cats. My own health wouldn't be an issue finance-wise, but my cats' would be, and I'm so thankful they're healthy. Aside from Kramer's quick visit for pinkeye in September, they've had NO health issues whatsoever.

And, I know I said three, but one more...

4. The fact that my cats and the family dog get along, even though they don't see each other very much. :lol3: It just makes the extended Christmas visit so much easier. In fact, when we left after Thanksgiving, my stepdad called and said that Bear (the dog) was wandering around, confused, looking for his small furry friends. :lol3: He's such a big sweetheart.

What are you thankful for? :)

I'm thankful for my good health, food to eat, a clean warm place to sleep, clothes to wear, my amazing husband, my cats, having a job, having a car, my parents, my wonderful friends, the relatively good health of my loved ones, having access to an education, and health insurance. I have a good quality of life.

I'm thankful for a roof over my head, my friends, my DH, my cats, our car, and... our great vets who are willing to work with us despite our spordic income (for which I'm also thankful!). :lol3:

Oh, and I should add, I'm also thankful for the Internet and a working laptop!

I'm thankful for Rick. He makes me spastic and I make him crazy. But, somehow, it works. We've been married 40 years and I cannot see my life without him in it.

I love my son and his family. They have blessed us with two lovely grandchildren, who are the loves of our lives.

My family is wonderful. They're always there with me, no matter what I'm doing. I'm thankful that I can pick up the phone and call my sister, just to chat for awhile. I'm glad that she'll come over and share a glass of wine with me out by the pool on summer nights. I love shopping with her and just being together. I'm thankful for my brother, who will come whenever I need him and for whatever reason. I love going out to lunch with him on the spur of the moment, just because we want to spend a little time together, just the two of us. I am blessed with the most special MIL, who is truly an amazing woman. And even my mother, who makes me so crazy sometimes....well, I can't imagine my world without her.

Our cats are truly a special part of our lives. Each one has his or her own personality and that makes them all special for one reason or another. There are times when they frustrate me to no end. But, at the end of the day, when we're all snuggled in bed at night and I can touch furry ears or smooth paw pads and fall asleep listening to their purrs, well, life is good.

I'm thankful for my friends, both close personal friends, and my wonderful online friends that I haven't actually met....yet. Where would we be without those people who are there with us in good times and during those really crappy times, too?

I'm thankful for good health, for our jobs, and for the fact that we have a roof over our heads, a comfy bed to share with our cats, and good food to eat.

And, last but certainly not least, I'm thankful for TCS, where we can all hang out together, ask questions, receive guidance and just have fun.
