I just posted on a really old thread about my new foster kitty who has eyelid agenesis...thought I'd start a new one too because the other was from 2009. Has anyone had experience with eyelid agenesis? How much did surgery cost? Did you do just the cryosurgery to remove hair, or did you go all the way with the recreation of an eyelid? Where did you get it done? How old/big was the cat at the time?
Also, this sounds kind of weird, but I think think this kitten's little anus is really smaller than usual. In addition to the eye problems, he's had a fever that's been yo-yo'ing for a few days. All the way up to 104.5, then back down to 102. So of course I've been monitoring his temperature. WHich mean I've gotten a good view of his little bum a few times. And inserting the thermometer was not as easy as usual, and his anus just seems TINY. Also, his little poops are usually really long and thin. I know, lots of information...
Any thoughts?
