This evening, Myri has vomited twice.  The first time was pretty good size, and the second was a few minutes later and probably an aftershock.  Both times, it was pretty watery with good sized chunks of the food I feed her and Rodney (Max Cat Adult).

When I got home from Thanksgiving (first time I've been gone overnight since I got her), I noticed a couple places where the same thing might have happened (slightly stained patches of carpet, but the food was gone).

I adopted her a couple months ago now and she hasn't entirely stopped sneezing (though she isn't nearly as much as the first couple weeks).  I kept her separated from Rodney for the first few weeks, and Rodney hasn't displayed any URI symptoms even though they've both had run of the house for a month or so now.

Any ideas what could cause this?  I haven't noticed any real behavior changes.  She and Rodney still don't get along all that well, but I haven't noticed any injuries or anything like that.

Only thing I can think of that might have changed in the environment is that I switched to the reservoir style food dishes to make sure they had enough food for my Thanksgiving (and forthcoming Christmas) time away from the house.

Has she eaten since last night?  If not, you would want a vet visit.

I had to take Aoibhe in to the vet when she started vomiting for 12 hours straight and didn't eat anything in between.  She was also throwing up a pinkish fluid.  The vet suspected that she ate something that caused her intestines to get irritated, possibly a blockage.  Aoibhe also had a laceration on her tongue.  The vet gave her fluids, antibiotics, and anti-nausea medicine over three days and Aoibhe is now doing fine.

Yes, she ate a few bits of food pretty quickly afterwards.  I was at work for 10 hours today, but I saw her eat some yesterday evening after I posted and this morning.

Then she probably just had something that didn't settle with her.  Cats will vomit on occasion.  It is when they can't keep something down or stop eating that it causes concern.
