I've heard that some people use scissors and just trim, but with them being so sharp (I have haircutting scissors), if she kicks or anything, she'll get poked.
So, does anyone have any tips? Or any feedback on how it went with their cat?
Thanks!

You can get scissors that are specially made for trimming around eyes/mouths, they're rounded and blunt at the end so you won't be poking. I would also suggest getting the small Wahl trimming clippers. I can't remember exactly what they're called, but it's about the size of your hand, takes two (or maybe one?) AA battery, and is marketed for trimming/maintenance. If your cat is used to having a sanitary clip, then it shouldn't be too hard to do, but if not then you'll have to get them used to the scissors/clippers before hand. I absolutely love the clippers though, I use them for everything (my boyfriend even uses it to trim his beard - I got him his own because I use it on the dogs to do a sanitary clip, lol).
Thanks for the feedback! I will see what I can find for the Wahl's. I know they have a TON of different ones. Do you use ones made for humans?
The one that I use is made for dogs/cats, but I do use human clippers on the dogs when I have to do a big area. They do not hold up as well and I find they get clogged easier. If you're only using them every once in awhile I think it would be fine.
I got my Wahl ones at Canadian Tire (a hardware store) in the pet section. I think they also have them at WalMart.
