So in another thread I talked about how Wesley is a bit of a dummy, in that he has found a way to get up on my living room top window ledge, but has a hard time getting down.
Today I write to you with a bruise mark two inches below my belly button, thanks to this:
So I was peacefully sleeping.
I hear this incessant meowing at 5AM. Look up groggily to the sound, and see a shadow of Wesley up on the ledge again. I'm too tired to get the chair and rescue him again, so I roll over onto my back and almost instantly pass out back to sleep.
WHABAM!!!
Usually I can take a hit to the gut fine, but not when I'm completely asleep with my abs as completely relaxed and soft as they can be. I seriously almost felt like throwing up it was such a shock.
Where's Wesley? Startled at first by my cry out, he's by the door, but then quickly relaxes and meows for me to follow. Then trots his little happy trot tail held high to the kitchen cabinet by his food and meows meaning he wants food.
NO REMORSE!
