I don't know why your death upsets me so much; I barely knew you.  Yeah, I rescued you from the feral cat colony where I feed the grown ups by the dumpster on 11-11-11, you were starving, but so cute, you purred right away.  I could hold you, you loved to walk on my back and on my shoulder.  I fed you, I played with you.  I held you.  I cuddled you. 

You were adopted into a loving home shortly thereafter, even though they knew you were feeling a little poorly.  They loved you as I did; I know you know this. You left this earth with that knowledge, sense.

So sorry to hear.

Poor baby. RIP, little one.

So sorry at least this kitty was loved :heart3: and cared for and in a home, not outside to fend for himself and die alone and unloved. Feel good about knowing you rescued him from that

Autumn (renamed Tucker by his adoptive family because he liked to be tucked into your arms) was the first cat who passed since I've been rescuing / taking care of cats (two years).

I am constantly reminded that we get no second chances.  And to assume that every goodbye, every hug, might be the last one you give.

That's so true, and though bittersweet, beautiful at the same time. I am so sorry. and to his family. How wonderful of them to opened their hearts and home to him. :heart3:
