I don't know why your death upsets me so much; I barely knew you. Yeah, I rescued you from the feral cat colony where I feed the grown ups by the dumpster on 11-11-11, you were starving, but so cute, you purred right away. I could hold you, you loved to walk on my back and on my shoulder. I fed you, I played with you. I held you. I cuddled you.
You were adopted into a loving home shortly thereafter, even though they knew you were feeling a little poorly. They loved you as I did; I know you know this. You left this earth with that knowledge, sense.
at least this kitty was loved 
and cared for and in a home, not outside to fend for himself and die alone and unloved. Feel good about knowing you rescued him from that
