Miyavi my betta!

Hi guys. I'm sad to announce that my betta Miyavi( who is probably 2 now, but I got him last year in August of 2010)  will be getting his wings today. He was very ill, had a really small case of dropsy, fin rot and possible ich. It start of February of this year when he started to become ill. He was eating and stuff, but hasn't made any bubbles. So several months later he started to develop discoloration of his fins. He was starting to get pale and lethargic. in November I started to put in his new tank after it was cycled. I thought it will solve it, but I guess it didn't. His scales were spiky like a pin cone and today he look so sick that I don't think even a water change will do anything. So now I have to make a difficult decision to humanely euthanized him. He will be missed.

Misa even looks sad now. She really like looking at Miyavi when I feed him and the other fishy's

I really am sad about your loss. I'm a Betta lover and know what little characters they can be...And even though they don't purr and we can't cuddle with them, we still get attached to them.

Thanks guys. I feel a lot better now. I even made a shrine of him recently next to my really tiny golden plastic xmas tree.
