Furry Clip of the Month - December 2011

Hooray! Launching a brand new contest, which I hope to make into a recurrent monthly feature. Without further ado, here are the rules -

 

1. Find the best clip you can that's relevant to the theme this month: Cats & The Holiday Season.

 

2. Embed the clip into a post in this thread. Please do not just link to it - these posts will get disqualified and deleted - rather use the embed feature to make your clip appear in your post. More info below on how to embed a video.

 

3. This contest runs for a week - you can submit a different clip for the first four days. The limit is one clip per member per contest day - up to four clips in total. The next three days will be dedicated to voting.

 

Again, the theme for this month -

Cats & The Holiday Season!

Go and find us the funniest, most moving, coolest clips on youtube of Cats & The Holiday Season. As always, please make sure no cats were harmed in any way in the making of the clip. Remember, it's the cat lovers here who will be judging the clips!

 

Oh, one last thing... the prize!

 

Winner gets -

A nifty award badge to wear for a month! Once our next Furry Clip winner is selected next month, the award badge is moved on to them.

Three months of premium membership here on TCS!

How to Embed a clip? It's real easy! Just look for this button - Capture.PNG - in the editor toolbar and click. It will bring up this box -

Capture.PNG

 

Now, copy the URL of the Youtube video from your browser address bar, and paste it into the box. Press submit and voila! The clip is embedded into your post like so -

Hmmm... I guess no entries yet? Bumping this for some entries.

 

Come on, folks, this one's easy, and looks like there may not be tons of competition either ;) Just find a cool/funny video of cats & the holiday season on youtube and post it here. LEt me know if you need any help with the technicalities.

Well, I was new to digital cameras, so the quality of this video is not great, but I was thrilled at the time to catch it on video, as this was Tolly's rbheart.gifangel.gif favorite thing to do with his Christmas tree. He loved his tree, and would remove the Angel to rest his chin on top of the tree as often as I would put the angel back.

Excellent submissions - thank you!

 

Just to clarify - you do not have to be the owner of the video. It's perfectly ok to embed videos uploaded by other people. Just to throw some ideas around - commercials, animated clips, songs, anything goes, as long as it matches our theme!

I know Tolly rbheart.gifangel.gif would be very proud. I cherish that video, and how he loved his tree. When I took it out of the box he would run over and hug it, just wrap his paws around it and flop to the floor hugging it. After he had a rapture with it he would jump up to the spot where I always put it, to supervise me putting it up and decorating it heartpump.gif

I loved Monet as well because he reminded me of Jack when he  saw his first snowfall, so keep posting yoiur pictures and videos everyone!!

Well, I can see it was a very close vote!  I must admit, that since we could vote for 3, that I voted for both Tolly AND Monet zwaai.gif .
