Poll: What is your favorite season of the year?

I voted Spring. It's just so wonderful feeling after being cold all winter!  And I do love watching the trees bud and turn green again .  And the flowers coming up and the flowers on trees too!

But I do love Fall also.  It's pretty with the leaves and nice temps.  It just makes me sad that winter is coming!

I didn't vote. I like each season individually.

I love spring when its just starting to get warm and people are out and about doing yard work and the smell of spring is in the air.
I love the green of summer and all the fun activities that come with it like camping, swimming, biking and stuff.

Fall is beautiful with all the changing leaves and the warm days and cool nights make the temperatures so nice.
Then there is winter and the snow. I looooooooooove snow. I love big snow storms and blizzards (especially at night). I love waking up in the mornings and seeing how much snow has fallen and seeing it undisturbed. 

Of course, the above depends on where you live. It might be cold or hot all year around...but since I get to experience each season differently, I love them all.

I picked summer because there is a season between me and winter and if the fall is nice, it's like summer has been extended.

Spring is too wet and cool for my liking most years, and there is no way I'd pick winter, especially not a Winnipeg winter!  lol

Summer is my favorite by far. It gets way to chilly out here! I'm not a fan of the cold weather. Although for the past few years we've had a nice fall. I enjoy the summer, and traveling to warm countries during our winter 

Winter! I'm in South Texas so our winters are mild...too mild IMO 

Summer through and through! Give me heat, camping, bbqs... Love it all!

Another summer lover. I love hot weather, being outside and working in the yard. Even mowing the lawn. The long days and short nights. I love going to sleep while listening to the rain at night. Sitting out on the deck with my sister at night, drinking a glass of wine and watching the rabbits in the back yard. Watching the fireflies hovering over the flowers. Having picnics and BBQs. I just love summer.

My favorite is fall, because it's a welcome reward for surviving the heat and humidity of summer and the colors are beautiful.  Second favorite is winter, especially if we get snow!  My area doesn't get much each winter.

I like each season but fall is my favorite. I just love the colors and when it starts to get chilly at night (sweatshirt weather is what I call it). And there is nothing like a warm October day with a clear blue sky behind all the colored trees on the mountains. My cousin once said the mountains in fall remind her of a big bowl of fruity pebbles, and she's right.

But, I love spring when things start coming to life and the red buds and daffodils bloom. And summer when things get out of control and all the fresh veggies start maturing. I even love winter...especially the first snowfall (of course we got our first one Oct 30th this year...a bit early for me). I don't like the cold but I do have to admit I like making a big pot of chili or bean soup when the wind is blowing outside.

Definitely summer!!!!    I love the warmth, the green grass, pretty flowers, and just being able to enjoy being outside.  Fall isn't too bad, but it's way too short.  Winter is my absolute least favorite season.  If we had a moderate climate it wouldn't be so bad.  But here in Minnesota winter is way to harsh and it just keeps going on and on and on and on and on...YUCK!!!!!  And then it's usually followed by a really dull, gloomy, wet, late, and depressing spring.

So my favorite season absolutely has to be SUMMER!!!!! 

I voted for fall.

My favorite season, hands down, is autumn. While I do enjoy spring and summer (and even winter!) I feel as though I am always looking forward to fall. There is something about the air getting a bit crisper and the clouds hanging a bit lower that makes me intrinsically happy. The colors on the trees become so vivid and the landscapes can be breathtaking depending on where you live. And, I love that when I walk outside, I can hear and feel the crunch of leaves under my shoes. There's nothing better than snuggling under the covers with my dogs and cats and reading -- autumn weather is perfect for lazy days at home and hearty meals with family and friends. I've always loved fall.

Spring is a time for rebirth and it is a welcome change from dreary winter. And, summer is a time for fun. Even winter has its place -- sitting near the fireplace, drinking hot cocoa, the holidays...winter is a time for reflection. But, despite having strong feelings about each season, it is autumn that always draws me near. And, based on the poll here, it appears I'm not the only one...

I love fall because of the Massachusetts fall foliage! The weather is so nice here during the fall and the leaves are beautiful.
