Raw food leftovers for feral/community cats--okay to feed?

Is it okay to feed the cats in my community cat colony raw food; they also eat Friskies and dry food.  I have read that it's not a good idea to feed cats both raw food and dry food within 18 hours.

I feed Ritz raw and commercial raw.  Sometimes I defrost raw food too soon and rather than throw it away, I give it to the 10 cats I feed (stray/feral cat colony).  And when I am preparing cornish hens or other poultry, I give the feral cats the skin; they need all the calories they can get.

Of course they all love raw, although most don't like bone or the giblets.  They eventually ate all of the beef heart.  Those that do like bone, really like it!

Thanks.

As far as I know, it is perfectly fine to feed the feral's some raw food. I have given my feral's some raw mixed in with there other food when I have some that is leftover and about to spoil. They really will appreciate it biggrin.gifrryumy.gif
