Kairi is limping!!

I noticed it last night, he was doing a little hop, on his rear left leg. I figured he'd gotten himself into some kind of predicament and bruised himself a bit. there was no pain when I touched it, and moved it, (and this cat climbs my brick wall and fireplace like spiderman!!) so I figured I'd wait and see until this morning. Of course I didn't sleep well, and got up at 2:30 this morning to check on him and he's still hopping.

He's off to the vet as soon as they open and I can get him an appointment. I'm having flashbacks to my angel, Pumpkin, who started with a limp in her back legs. Of course he's a plain grey tabby, and she was a Burmese mix, so I KNOW in my heart it's different, but I keep tearing up, and I'm just so worried about him. He's playing with a toy right now, hopping, but still playing, so I'm hoping this is nothing serious.

Some vibes for him please!! He's such a big mush, and such a lively boy, I can't bear to see him just playing on the floor and not climbing everything in sight.

vibes.gif I hope Kairi is ok! Esme was limping a few weeks ok and when I called the vet, they just had me monitor her for a few days. My vet said it was probably just a pulled muscle or something, and from the sounds of how your cat is a climber, that could be it. smile.gif

Esme's limp cleared up after a week and she is back to her crazy self. I hope its just something minor for you too!
