Lynxx has been gone for exactly 1 year now. I still miss him and think about him every day. The day I found him

6-15-01 is and always will be the happiest day of my life.

 

I found a poem I like called If Tears Could Build A Stairway. I like the beginning part:

If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again
 

I've made a lot of pictures for Lynxx, they are in his album if anyone is interested in seeing them. My favorite 1 is:

I did go through your beautiful pictures....the one where he's walking up the stairs and then sitting there waiting for you brought tears to my eyes.

Oh that is soooooooo beautiful, and such a lovely, lovely tribute to a very loved (and missed!) kitty! I know it broke your heart when he passed. It's never OK.... but we know from the moment they enter our lives that they won't be with us as long as we want them to be. That knowledge, of course, makes not one wit of difference when they're gone. They leave a gaping whole in our heart. heartpump.gif

Oh Sweetheart heartpump.gif THAT is just beautiful of rbheart.gif Lynxx sitting on the bridge surrounded by all of the lovely flowers and the rainbow above. Just brought tears to my eyes sniffle.gif I am sure he is watching over you ALL the time and is having a great time playing on that bridge with lots of furfriends. I know how much your heart is hurting today, Maria.  I wish I could give you a big hug.

The pic of Lynxx waiting at the Bridge is my favorite.  I like to think of my own RB kitties that way---just waiting for their Meowmy to show up and scratch their little heads again.

Lynxx was a very special boy - with with a very special meowmy.  You were both so lucky to have loved each other - and Lynxx is watching over you every day til you meet again.
