Some thoughts...

I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose-fitting clothing. If I HAD any loose-fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place!

I wondered that too, but now I wonder is mice are actually tasty to cats. It seems like usually cats that are well fed don't really eat the mice, they just kill them. However cats that live outdoors and don't get regular meals will eat the mice but I don't know if it's because they actually enjoy the taste of it or if they just eat it because that is their only choice. However maybe I'm wrong and some of you have well fed cats that actually eat their mice.

My Bob is a well fed cat that will eat mice. I think he does it for the sport. All my other cats were taken away from their feral mom early enough that she never trained them to hunt/kill/eat and they don't know what mice are for.

I think that some cats just have a "waaay back" instinct to eat things like mice. I had "CC cat" that I adopted and fixed. He had to stay outdoors because the vet said he had cat aids. He was a darling, but, he would eat mice and birds just awful. I wished I could stop him on the birds. I love my birds. He is over the bridge now, but was he ever a hunter. I found a freshly dead bird in my yard one day and showed my eight furrkids. They turned up their aristocratic noses and looked at me like "you wouldn't expect me to put my mouth on that would you!" LOL. And, they aren't aristocratic, just regular kids. Guess I've done a good job on the pampering!
