I love to spoil my beautiful kitty.

And me working at Petsmart makes extremely dangerous to buy my kitty stuff cuz it's hard to stop!

In the past two weeks, I have bought more treats then I ever have before. I've bought a tall sisal scratching post, two cardboard scratching lounge, I buy Friskie's wet food, and today I bought him VitaGravy Salmon, freeze-dried shrimp, and Fancy Feast Appetizers.

What types of stuff do you buy for your kitty? What stuff do you recommend, whether it be cat food, treats, toys or furniture.

And here is the spoiled kitty who says hello.

Our cats live the life. They have a huge scratching post at the back door so they can watch the birds, both window coverings in the front are raised just enough for them to see out, one window has a chair with kitty bed so they can lay and see out the front window. 2 cat beds on the hearth, 3 cat beds on the desk, 4 cat beds in the bedroom. 2 of the cat beds have heating pads under them for the old kitties. Treats every night at 11pm. And wet food put out multiple times a day. DH gives them catnip at least 3-4 times a week.

It's pitiful really.

Sounds like they really are living the life.

And they might as well.

It's part of loving them.

It's fun seeing them happy with new stuff.

Buddy is definitely spoiled, and he has me completely whipped.

He yowls at me at exactly 6am and 6pm for his wet food.

He also gets the entire bed when I'm at work, and when I get home, I find his giant self completely stretched out on his back sleeping.

Silly kitty.

My cats are definitely spoiled. Let's see..... for 2 cats, we have 6 or 7 scratchers, some vertical, some flat, some lounger type. They have 3 window perches, a little cat tree, more lasers than I can count, more mice than I can count. My house is. FULL of milk rings. They also have a good amount of "kicker" toys. Some toys they have hang off of door nobs, others are battery operated (one spins a string and ball at various times, definitely helps them get their hunt mode out).

Oh. They also have stairs for the bed.. and I have to admit........... they also get their own cup of water. Esme, for whatever reason, will ALWAYS drink my water, no matter if she has her own. It has to be a human glass, or else she won't drink. Now, our little guy is starting to follow suit (but thankfully, still drinks out of normal bowls). They also get "Furminated" regularly and brought to the groomers regularly for nail clippings and good fur trimmings (mainly Esme, she typically gets "sanitary" shaves all year round and then her full coat trimmed in the summer).

Whew.. as far as treats go, they only get premium treats. Wet food for Esme is Fussie Cat only (she won't touch anything else), but Naku also gets a mixture of Soulsomethingorother and Friskies.

Goodness.. I could go ON forever, but they live like little princes and princesses!

Lol! That is sooooo Esme. She gets the WHOLE king size bed to herself! Sadly... she sleeps @ my feet everything and I move around her, if I need to move my legs, unconciously!
