Good morning!

It's a little after 4:00 and we're getting ready to leave for shopping. I have my gift lists and my lists of what I want to look for from each store. And I have my store coupons, too. So my question for you this morning is:

When you do your Christmas shopping, do you have a list of what you want to buy for those special people on your list? Do you have a specific amount set aside for gifts?

I'll be back later!!

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
We have a specific list of who we buy for and then who get stuff made for them. Generally we buy for the guys and make for the girls. The little kids is a bit more difficult so this year I think for the babies its gonna be stuffed animals and toy for the older kid. As for budget we fit in what we get into our weekly budget because to save money means having cash around and I cant have cash in the house with Df...he finds it and has to have it and NEEDS something. LOL

I guess I kind of have a mental list, but I usually just wing it. I shop everywhere, not one particular store. I look for sales and deals often though.

We don't shop.  Just give our kids a small check to use for something for their family.  Life is too short to spend it on shopping

Today, Black Friday, I will be cleaning the stall, working on the barn kitties winter shelters, puttering around the house.

It may sound boring, but this is my perfect day!

Since we're primarily giving teens and twenty-somethings Christmas gifts nowadays, i.e., the nieces and nephews, money and/or gift cards are appreciated more than anything. A couple of them use electronic cigarettes, so I get them some supplies, too. The list is mental, and I usually have a fixed sum in mind, but end up spending twice that.

I usually know what I want to buy before I get to a store, and how much I'm willing to spend.  I shop on the internet for most of DH's gifts---I love to find things he can't get around here.

I think the extent of my shopping today will be the grocery store (done) and maybe Menard's later---if they're not too busy.

We avoid the stores on Black Friday :lol3:. I can't take the crowds... I just wing it with most gifts. Although, I do have a list of who I am shopping for and ideas by the name. I just go to a few of the major stores or I buy on-line. :D :wavey:
